Dosiqo Privacy Policy
Dosiqo respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data, in line with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law No. 13,709/2018).
This Privacy Policy describes how we handle the information of users of the Dosiqo app and the website https://dosiqo.com.
1. Data we handle
Dosiqo handles only the data needed for the service to work.
Data you enter in the app
- Medication names, dosages, instructions and schedules;
- Dose records (taken, not taken, missed, times and notes);
- Optional photos of medications or doses.
This data is health-related and is considered sensitive personal data under the LGPD.
If you create an account
- Email address and password to create and access the account;
- Your name, shown to the people you choose to share with;
- The records you sync to the cloud.
If you subscribe to Premium
- Your subscription status. Payment is handled by Apple or Google, and we do not receive your card details.
Using the app without an account
Without an account, your records stay only on your device and nothing is sent to us.
Automatically collected data
Dosiqo does not use behavioral analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
2. How we use the data
The data is used to:
- Deliver the reminders you set up, on the device itself;
- Keep your dose history and generate reports of your records;
- Create and manage your account, if you choose to have one;
- Back up and sync your records across devices;
- Share your records with the people you invite;
- Confirm your subscription status;
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell users' personal data and do not use it for advertising or profiling.
3. Legal bases
We handle your data to provide the service you requested (reminders, history, reports and sync), with your consent for health data, photos and sharing, which you can withdraw at any time, and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Data sharing
Nothing is shared by default.
Sharing you control
You can create a one-time invite code for someone you trust and choose whether they also see photos. While sharing is active, that person sees your name and your records read-only. You can stop sharing at any time, and both of you can see the log of grants and revocations.
Service providers
To run the service, we use:
- Supabase: database, authentication and private storage (only if you create an account);
- RevenueCat: subscription status verification;
- Apple App Store and Google Play: app distribution and payments;
- Expo: delivery of app versions and updates, with no access to your records;
- Cloudflare: website hosting;
- An email delivery service, for account confirmation and password reset messages.
These providers may process information in other countries, according to their own privacy policies and security measures.
We may also share information when required by law, court order or request from a competent authority.
5. Storage and security
We adopt reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure, such as:
- Encrypted connections;
- Private storage for photos;
- Row-level access rules, which restrict each record to its owner;
- Session keys kept in the device's secure keychain.
Despite our efforts, no electronic transmission or storage system is completely free of risk. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. App permissions
- Notifications and alarms: to deliver the reminders you schedule;
- Camera: only when you tap to take a photo;
- Photos: only when you pick an image from your library;
- Internet: only if you sign in to an account, for sync, sharing and subscription.
Dosiqo does not ask for access to your location, contacts or microphone. If you deny a permission, the app keeps working, just without the matching feature.
7. Retention and deletion
Data on your device stays until you erase it, in Settings, using the option to erase all data on this device, or by uninstalling the app.
Cloud data stays until you delete your account, in Settings, using the option to delete the account. Deletion permanently removes your records, photos, sharing and subscription record from our servers. Some data may be kept for the period needed to comply with legal obligations.
See also the account and data deletion page.
8. Your rights
Under the LGPD, you can request:
- Confirmation that your data is being processed;
- Access to your personal data;
- Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated information;
- Deletion of personal data, where applicable;
- Data portability;
- Information about data sharing;
- Withdrawal of consent, where processing is based on it;
- A complaint to the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
9. Children
Dosiqo is not directed to children. If a guardian uses the app to record a child's medications, they are responsible for those records.
10. Contact

We will reply to requests within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. For material changes, we will also notify you in the app.
